This is my first experience with blogging. My aim is to post many of the poems I have written and new ones as they mature. In addition, I intend to add short notes and commentaries on subjects that interest me.

I am a 75 year old retired physician having spent my entire career involved with teaching, clinical care and research in a number of different medical schools. I know how to write scientific papers and now I am trying to learn a new craft.
